About Coordinating Council Session on training for aviation specialists

On 1-4 July 2009 in Moscow the regular Coordinating Council Session on training for aviation specialists of the Member States to the Agreement on Civil Aviation and Use of Airspace was held in the Interstate Aviation Committee 
       Representatives of aviation authorities, higher and secondary educational institutions and avition training centers of civil aviation of the contracting States of the Agreement took part in the session. 
        At the Council session the relevant issues were considered: 
      • Relevance of aviation specialists training, taking into account pan-European requirements.
      • Implementation of a safety management system by providers of educational service.
      • Updating regulatory, legal and educational documentation as a factor for enhancing the quality of aviation specialists training. 
      • Experience in creating harmonized educational and professional standards in the member states to the Agreement.
      • Interaction of enterprises and educational institutions for the organization and management of the educational process, built on a modern technological base.
      • Improving training programs based on the results of accident investigations.
      • Improving the system of training, retraining and advanced training of faculty and instructors of practical training. 
      • Application of remote technologies in the educational process. 
      The results of the meeting were reflected in the Decision of the Coordinating Council aimed at improving the quality training of aviation specialists of civil aviation of the Commonwealth countries.
The Interstate Aviation Committee expresses its gratitude to the management of the State Enterprise “Kyrgyzaeronavigation” as well as to all participants for their contribution to the successful holding of the Council meeting.
