Courses on A320 aircraft series structure

From October 19-22 this year and October 26-29 this year in the IAC headquarters the special courses on A320 (A318, A319, A321, A320 NEO) aircraft, its systems, engines and flight-navigation system were held, A380 and A350 aircraft distinguishing performance were presented.

The courses were held by “Airbus” company experts (training center of Hamburg, Germany) Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya), Federal service for supervision on the sphere of transport (Rostransnadzor) and Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC) specialists training.

The specialists studied mechanical, electrical, fuel, air systems and airframe structure of “Airbus” aircraft series, received materials of flight and technical documentation on maintenance program/inspections (1).

Functional capabilities of navigation systems, radio navigation, automated takeoff and landing, communication, conditioning and extinguishing, deicing systems, the system of flight data recording and its redundancy with data display in cockpit are in examined in detail.

CFM-56-5B, PW 6000, PW 11276 – JM engines design and their monitoring and control electronic systems, as well as Honeywell 13A-9A auxiliary power units (APU) are studied.

Various types of used composites (carbon fiber reinforced plastic, glass fiber, aramid fiber (Kevlar), etc.), their advantages and deficiencies were studied in detail.

The workshop was highly appreciated by Rostransna, Rosaviatsiya and IAC, it was offered to continue such workshops practice in 2016.

“Airbus” certificates are given to participants upon completion of the courses.
