About negotiations of T. Anodina with S. Sargasyan and A. Kobyakov

Telephone conversations from headquarters of the Interstate Aviation Committee (Moscow) of the President of the Interstate Council on Aviation and Use of Airspace, IAC Chairperson T. Anodina with the President of Armenia S.A. Sargasyan and Prime-minister of the Republic of Belarus A.V. Kobyakov were held.

T. Anodina briefed on the results of the implementation of the Agreement on Civil Aviation and Use of Airspace (Agreement) signed in 1991 in Minsk by heads of 12 states of post-soviet territory and plans of further enhanced collaboration within the framework of this Agreement, counteraction with CIS and EurAsEC states and also agreements signed with 77 countries and 19 international organisations, in particular with the ICAO.

For their part, S.A. Sargasyan and A.V. Kobyakov have once again confirmed the interest in deepening of collaboration with the Interstate Council/IAC on activities including certification of aviation equipment and international airports, impartial accident investigation, aviation specialists training including within the framework of the ICAO-IAC project, strengthening aviation security, airspace liberalization and other issues of ICAO Standards and decisions implementation in the region.

Conversations took place in a warm and constructive atmosphere on the basis of mutual understanding.
