About participation in the annual Seminar of Middle East and North Africa Society of Air Safety Investigators

On November 6-9, 2023, the Interstate Aviation Committee delegation took part in the annual Seminar of the Middle East and North Africa Society of Air Safety Investigators (MENA SASI - regional department of the International Society of Air Safety Investigators ISASI), dedicated to the issues of flight safety and aviation accident investigation held in Jeddah city, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The seminar was attended by the representatives of aviation authorities, accident investigation bodies, airlines from the Middle East and North Africa, ICAO and IATA representatives and leading manufactures of aviation equipment.

IAC delegation presented a report on the topic: "Hi-tech in accident investigation - beyond conventional approach", which, following the results of the competition, unanimously received the highest rating and took first place in the voting. 

IAC representatives held a working meeting with the leadership of the Aviation Investigation Bureau (AIB) for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at which a mutual understanding was reached on cooperation in the field of accident investitgation.
