IAC statement

    In connection with publication of the article "Powers fly to Federal Air Transport Agency" in the newspaper "Kommersant" from September 14, 2009 the Interstate Aviaiton Committee states that it has never had any relation to structural changes and staff appointments in state civil aviation authorities of the Russian Federation. Establishment of state civil aviation authorities and any staff appointments are the exclusive prerogative of the Russian Federation.
