About completion of the investigation of the accident with EC-130B4 RA-07256 helicopter

The Interstate Aviation Committee Investigation team has completed the investigation of the accident with EC-130B4 RA-07256 helicopter owned by Eastern Alliance Insurance Group occurred in the Primorski Krai, RF, on April 2, 2016.

Most probably the fatal accident with the helicopter was caused by PIC's spatial disorientation in meteorological conditions, which didn't meet VFR (loss of visibility of ground cues and the natural horizon line) resulted in the helicopter uncontrolled descent and collision with ground.

Appropriate safety recommendations based on the investigation results were developed.
