About the IAC Chairperson visit to the Republic of Tajikistan

On August 29, IAC Chairperson O.G. Storchevoy paid an official visit to the Republic of Tajikistan during which a working meeting was held with the Director of the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Dilshod Safarzoda and Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Council on Aviation and Use of Airspace, Deputy Director of the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Aziz Nabozoda. 

The parties discussed relevant aspects of interaction in the field of flight safety, aviation specialists training and proficiency upgrade. An in-depth exchange of views in the areas of international cooperation in civil aviation took place, ways of further development of bilateral relations were outlined. 

The participants of the working meetings highly appriciated the level of IAC cooperation with aviation authorities of Tajikistan and expressed certitude in the need for closer cooperation in the field of aircraft accident investigation, certification of aeronautical equipment, aerodromes and facilities, air navigation and aviation specialists training.
