     The Investigation team of the Interstate Aviation Committee has completed the investigation of the accident with LTYu-1208 RA-2097G single-built private helicopter occurred in the Rostov region (RF) on December 6, 2014.
     Fatal accident with LTYu-1208 RA-2097G private helicopter most probably was caused by helicopter vortex-ring state that resulted in rotorcraft ground impact at a high vertical speed.
    The helicopter vortex-ring state was caused by the lack of rotorcraft piloting skills (the pilot didn't perform en-route flights before, 6 days prior to the accident he performed the first "hovering" flight).
      The following factors most probably contributed to the accident:
      - lack of Pilot's theoretical skills (he studied helicopter aerodynamics by the Internet web-sites);
      - ignorance of helicopter "vortex-ring" state critical condition, conditions of this mode encounter and correct actions in order to recover from it:
      - not holding of recommended flight speeds and altitudes;
      - possible incorrect attention allocation during helicopter piloting.
      The appropriate safety recommendations based on the investigation results were developed.
