According to the information received, on October 29, 2025 the air accident occurred with Mi-171 OB-2019P owned by Helisur S.A. ( Helisur JSC), in the province of La Covencion of the Cusco Region (the Republic of Peru). According to the available information, three crewmembers on board were killed.
In accordance to the provisions of Annex 13 to the Convention on International Civil Aviation “Aircraft Accident and Incident Investigation”, the investigation of the air accident is conducted by the the Comisión de investigación de accidentes de aviación (CIAA) of the Republic of Peru, as the State of Occurrence. Acting for the Russian Federation as the helicopter State of Design and State of Manufacture, the Interstate Aviation Committee appointed the expert team (the Accredited Representative and technical advisers) to participate in the investigation. The team has launched the investigation activities.
IAC points out that, compliant to the Annex 13 Standards, official information on the progress and the results of the investigation is provided by the competent authority of the State conducting the investigation (the Republic of Peru).
