On 24.06.2021 near Yarensk locality, Arkhangelsk region (RF) the accident involving Pa-28 Archer RA-2786G single-built aircraft occurred. According to the available information, the pilot and a passenger on board were injured, the aircraft was burned down.
The Interstate Aviation Committee has formed an Investigation team. The Investigation team has started its work.
According to the the initial report by the FATA Arkhangelsk Interregional Territorial Department on June 14, 2021 at the area of Yarensk locality, Arkhangelsk region (RF) the accident involving Pa-28 ARCHER RA 2786G aircraft occurred. The Investigation team was appointed by the IAC order. At the field stage of the investigation it is stated that airplane involved is not Pa-28 ARCHER RA-2786G single-built aircraft. It is determined that Pa-28 ARCHER RA-2786G single-built aircraft is located at the landing site of Kushkul village, Orenburg region (RF) and not damaged. The aircraft discovered at the accident site is not listed in the State Register of Civil Aircraft of the Russian Federation.
As far as in accordance with the "Regulations on Civil Aircraft Accident and Incident investigation in the Russian Federation”, approved by the Russian Federation Government Decision of June 18, 1998 № 609 the IAC is accredited to investigate air accidents with the civil aircraft only. The Investigation of the accident in question is out of the IAC scope and thus the Investigation team work is terminated.
