About 10th Session of Air Navigation Coordinating Commission

10th Session of Air Navigation Coordinating Commission was held in the Interstate Aviation Committee on 12-13 November, 2013. Representatives of the contracting states of the Agreement on Civil Aviation and Use of Airspace and heads and officials of the leading scientific-research organisations took part in the meeting. 
     The meeting participants were informed about the current situation concerning the implementation of QNH flight operation procedures in the Russian Federation and need of flight procedures and ATM technologies harmonization. It was emphasized that transition to QNH in feet during flight operations throughout the territory of the Russian Federation is scheduled for 13 November 2014.   
     The issue of RNAV procedure development best practices and GBAS precision approach procedures, which are not, associated with specific navigation specifications but are RNAV procedures in airspace of the Russian Federation was considered at the meeting. 
     The participants were familiarized with procedures of geodetic activities and geodetic surveys of objects, processes of aeronautical information database development in accordance with the ICAO documents. 
     The participants agreed that dynamic development of aeronautical equipment and air navigation flight support requires continuous upgrading of knowledge and proficiency maintaining as well. Aviation Enterprises need for qualified personnel is an acute problem of the industry. 
     Representatives of the contracting states of the Agreement on Civil Aviation and Use of Airspace exchanged best practices of navigation implementation based on PBN performance and QNH flight operation in airspace of their states. 
     Air Navigation Coordinating Commission members elected the head of civil aviation Agency department of the Kyrgyz Republic Sizintsev Gennady Anatolievich as the Chairman of Air Navigation Coordinating Commission in accordance with rotation plan and approved Air Navigation Coordinating Commission work plan for 2014.
