About 18th Session of Air Navigation Coordinating Commission

On 20-22 November 2018 in Moscow, in the Interstate Aviation Committee the 18^th Session of Air Navigation Coordinating Commission (ANCC) with the agenda “Implementing the priorities of ATM national systems harmonization to meet the requirements of Annex 19 to the Convention on International Civil Aviation" was held.

The Session was opened by the First Deputy of the IAC Chairperson Rukhlinsky Victor Mikhailovich. Representatives of aviation authorities, providers of air navigation services of the contracting states to the Agreement on Civil Aviation and Use of Airspace, airlines, aviation industry, scientific and educational institutions of civil aviation, as well as international organizations took part in the meeting.

The Deputy of the IAC Chairperson – ANCC co-chairperson Kleschev Konstantin Aleksandrovich presented the report on the work done.

Such current issues of civil aviation as principles, approaches and organization of the safety management system (SMS), human factor in ATM SMS, ATM cybersecurity issues, ornithological flight support at civil aviation airports, ATM aviation events, personnel training of air navigation services were discussed.

During the ANCC all participants visited the Scientific and Technical Center for Flight Safety, where they were informed about studies of FDR and CVR data, flight dynamics of the airworthiness and technical condition of the aircraft
