On 21-22 August 2019, in the CIS Executive Committee in Minsk, representatives of the Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC) took part in the meeting of the Working Group to prepare proposals on the medical and sanitary-epidemiological support for civil aviation flight operations of the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States. The meeting is dedicated to the issues of consolidating the efforts of the Commonwealth states to harmonize the requirements of documents on the state of health of candidates for obtaining (revalidation) certificates of aviation personnel and civil aviation activities providing medical assistance to aircraft passengers and crew. The meeting participants exchanged views on the relevance of the submitted draft documents, confirmed the need for their development, shared information on the features of international and national regulation on the issues under consideration. After completion, the documents are planned to be sent for consideration to the XXX meeting of the CIS Healthcare Cooperation Council. In the future, in order to implement in the aviation authorities of the states parties to the Agreement, draft documents will be submitted for approval by the Interstate Council on Aviation and Use of Airspace by the CAAC experts of the Interstate Council/IAC.
