IAC Aviation Register jointly with experts of the contracting states of the Agreement prepared a draft revision of Aviation regulations, Part 27 (AR-27) "Airworthiness standards: normal category rotorcraft (take-off weight up to 3180 kg).
The experience in practical certification of domestic and foreign helicopters was taken into consideration, contradictions between AR-27 and Federal aviation regulations FAR-128 were eliminated in the draft including requirements for mandatory installation of oxygen dispensing equipment, on board dictation machines, on board recorders, requirements for emergency and safety equipment for helicopters performing operations over water, etc.
