Interstate Council and IAC: strategy for future

On 15–17 April in the headquaters of the Interstate Council on Aviation and Use of Airspace (Baku) the working conference on strategic development of Interstate Council and IAC activity in their respactive areas of authority and competence determined by international treaties and agreements was held.

The participants of the conference considered the implementation of innovative programmes and initiatives of the Interstate Council/IAC developed within the framework of research and development expert-advisory center of the Interstate Council/IAC and IACO Project-Interstate Council/IAC with the active participation of IATA, leading aviation experts and auditors. Implementation of the strategy and programmes of the Interstate Council/IAC is aimed at further efficient and safe development of aviation, development of its international contactrs and authority in the world. These programs are fully correlated with ICAO and IATA programmes including GASOS and RSOO and are based on the national interests of the states of the Eurasian subregion of the ICAO European and North Atlantic region.  

Issues of preparation for the anniversary 40th Assembly of the ICAO were also discussed.

During the working visit to Baku, the President of the Interstate Council, Chairperson of the IAC, T. Anodina, met with the heads of state authorities of the Azerbaijan Republic and the aviators.
