About completion of two-week training courses for flight safety and accident investigation inspectors

      On November 20, 2009 two-week training courses for flight safety and accident investigation inspectors were completed in the Interstate Aviation Committee organised within the framework of ICAO-IAC RER/01/901 Project.
      During the period from 2006 to date a series of courses (10 classes) was held, which trained 342 specialists from aviation authorities of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Republic of Armenia, Republic of Belarus, Republic of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Republic of Moldova, Russian Federation, Republic of Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Republic of Uzbekistan, Ukraine, as well as leading airlines of the region. 
      Specialists training was carried out in two directions: 
- flight operations supervision;
- continued airworthiness supervision. 
      The trainig program was approved by the experts of the ICAO Air Naviation Office and coodrined at ICAO IFFAS session.
