About the Workshop activity on aircraft deicing

     The Workshop on aircraft deicing was completed in Surgut town on November 13, 2013.
     At the workshop AIRBUS and ATR companies representatives presented general provisions on aircraft deicing and requirements for its implementation. 
     The State Scientific Research Institute of Civil Aviation presented requirements on deicing under development, Central Aerohydrodynamic Institute (TsAGI) - analysis of aircraft flight safety development in icing conditions.
     During the workshop course the aircraft deicing and icing protection technology was demonstrated to the experts at A321 and ATR-72 aircraft provided by "UTair" airlines.
     At the end of training exercises the participants analyzed carried out activities and AIRBUS and ATR aircraft manufacturers presented their assessment.
