About the ICAO 38th Assembly Session

     38th ICAO Assembly Session was opened in International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) headquarters on September 24, 2013.  
      The Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC) delegation headed by IAC Chairperson T. Anodina participate in Assembly work.
      IAC submitted for consideration of the ICAO Assembly Session working and information documents: 
      1. Regional cooperation in the field of aviation security;
      2. Airports certification criteria;
      3. Method of portable GNSS receivers' data investigation during the aircraft accident investigation; 
      4. New approaches in the ICAO-IAC RER/01/901 (COSCAP-CIS) Project implementation;
      5. Proposed accident prevention efforts during loss of control in flight; 
      6. Training of aviation safety oversight inspectors;
      7. Planning of wake vortex flight safety system development;
      The meeting of T. Anodina with the ICAO Secretary General R. Benjamin was held on the day of the Assembly opening. The issues of regional cooperation, practical results of the ICAO-IAC Memorandum of cooperation implementation and other issues were discussed at the meeting.
      ICAO Secretary General emphasized the IAC essential role as international organisation in issues of aviation safety and ICAO strategic goals implementation in Euro-Asian region.  
      The meeting was held in a spirit of full understanding.
