About Coordinating Council session on training for aviation specialists

      Coordinating Council regular session on training for specialists of the Member States of the Agreement on Civil Aviation and Use of Airspace was held in the Interstate Aviation Committee on July 4, 2013.
      Representatives of aviation authorities, high and secondary education institutions, aviation training centers of Azerbaijan Republic, Republic of Belarus, Republic of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Republic of Latvia, Russian Federation and Ukraine participated in Council work.
      Particular emphasis was placed on issues of regulatory framework updating as a factor of training for aviation training and training processes management upgrading considering recommendations of international organisations.
      The following topics were included in the meeting programme.
      - ICAO policy in aviation specialists training;
      - Impact of training for aviation specialists on flight safety promotion;
      - Creating conditions for productive collaboration of enterprises and education institutions on training process management and control based on advanced technology.
      - Features of safety control system management in education institutions;
      - Development of instructor staff training and proficiency upgrade system in education aviation institutions;
      - Information support of educational process;
      - Education institutions collaboration management based on information technologies with the use of distance training and electronic libraries;
      - Practice of creating conditions and development of evaluation mechanism of education programmes ensuring competent aviation specialists training.
      Reports and discussions within the framework of Coordinating council will provide solution to training of aviation experts of Member States of the Agreement on Civil Aviation and Use of Airspace.
