About the workshop on MMEL/MEL

     The Workshop on MMEL/MEL held within the framework of the ICAO-IAC RER/01/901 international project was initiated in the Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC) on June 19, 2013.
      The Workshop was organised by Airbus jointly with the IAC. The following issues will be considered at the workshop:
      - MMEL review (general provisions, formats, digital MMEL...)
      - MMEL and regulatory documents (EASA, FAA, EASA CS MMEL…)
      - MMEL validation (SSA, technical justification…)
      - MMEL approval process (EASA, FAA…)
      - Transition from MMEL to MEL (MEL operators adjustment)
      - Airbus aircraft failures tracking (ECAM guidelines and maintenance system monitoring)
      - Aircraft systems failure scenario (review of all possible scenarios beyond the requirements of aircraft production in accordance with MMEL)
      - Support provided by Airbus and Airbus documentation which contribute to continuous operation (flight operation clearance, STC)
      Representatives of the Republic of Belarus, Georgia, Kyrgyz Republic, Russian Federation, Republic of Tajikistan and Ukraine) participate in the workshop.
