About ICAO EUR regional expert safety team (IE-REST) meeting

     ICAO EUR regional expert safety team first meeting will be held in the Interstate Aviation Committee in June 10-11, 2013.
     The purpose of establishing expert team is support of initiatives and measures on flight safety level development and implementation in the ICAO European region part which is not covered by EC/EASA regulatory framework in accordance with European Regional Aviation Safety Group (RASG-EUR) purposes and priorities. These initiatives and measures on flight safety level development will be implemented by harmonized efforts of authorities in coordination with services providers, airlines and aircraft manufacturers.
      Over 60 experts from 19 countries and 7 international and regional organisations will participate in the meeting.
      Task team establishment will be the continuation of IAC-ICAO expanding cooperation and will provide additional support of advanced initiatives promotion in the region in the field of flight safety promotion.
