About signing the Agreement on collaboration between the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia and IAC

     On October 3, 2014 the Minister of Civil Defence, Emergencies and Disaster Relief of the Rusian Federation V. Puchkov and the President of the Interstate Council on Aviation, Chairperson of the Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC) T. Anodina signed the Agreement on collaboration between the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia (MES) and the IAC.  
      The Agreements signed for development of previously concluded Agreements between parties from 1996 and 2000 years specify further counteraction of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the IAC during investigation of the accidents including the accidents affecting two or more states, information exchange in accordance with the accident investigation results, maintaining professional contacts between the MES and IAC specialists as well as other issues within their competence.  
      The parties will collaborate during aviation personnel training on flight safety and accident investigation including within the framework of the ICAO-IAC international project. The MES of Russia will extend maximum cooperation with the IAC officials operative activity at accident sites. The parties will exchange scientific and technical information on issues of mutual concern, establish task teams for specific issues consideration and agreed activities. 
     Within the framework of Agreement signing ceremony which involved the MES and IAC senior officials the discussion of different collaboration aspects of both parties including reciprocal measures and efforts on flight safety improvement was held.
