About the working meeting with United Arab Emirates aviation authority

     The working meeting of the IAC Investigation team experts and accident investigation sector of United Arab Emirates (UAE) aviation authority was held in the Interstate Aviation Committee from 8-10 September 2014. The meeting was held within the framework of bilateral agreement on cooperation in the field of accident investigation and prevention.  
      Aviation authorities representatives of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, IAC Aviation Register, "Aviapromservice" FSUE and "Il" JSC participated in the meeting. 
      The issues of aviation equipment operation of the contracting states of the Agreement on Civil Aviation and Use of Airspace (Agreement) in UAE, investigation of concrete aviation events and the procedure of consideration and implementation of the Investigation team recommendations, the issues of resources and service life prolongation, as well as overhaul of aviation equipment designed and manufactured in contracting states of the Agreement were discussed at the meeting. 
      The meeting was held in friendly working environment. The parties agreed on bilateral cooperation with participation of representatives of othe Agreement contracting countries organisations and authorities.
