On the workshop "Safety assessment of foreign aircraft" (SAFA)

      The workshop on "Safety assessment of foreign aircraft" held within the framework of the IACO-IAC international Project was launched in Saint-Petersburg on June 16, 2014.
      The workshop was organized by Airbus company, ICAO, Interstate Aviation Committee and Rostransnadzor supported by Rossiya Airlines, JSC.
      The following issues were considered at the workshop:
      - SAFA engineering aspects and data base
      - SAFA check positions:
      A. Cockpit,
      B. Main cabin,
      C. Aircraft status,
      D. Cargo hold;
      - Case-based training. 
      The workshop includes A319 on-aircraft training.
      Representatives of Administration of state aviation supervision and supervision over transportation security in Central, North-Western and Far Eastern Federal Districts as well as representatives of Rossiya Airlines, JSC, Transaero Airlines, JSC and UTair, JSC took part in the workshop.
