About the meeting of the ICAO-EUR Regional Expert Safety Team (IE-REST/03)

    The third meeting of the ICAO-EUR Regional Expert Safety Team (IE-REST/03) was held in the Interstate Aviation Committee on April 22-25, 2014. 87 experts fr om 14 states and 5 international and regional organisations attended the meeting. Within the framework of the meeting during first two days the workshop seminars of runway safety group (IE-RSG) and taximony and safety data analysis group (IE-TSG) were held. During the meeting the group working results were approved and the further ways of developped initiatives implementation in the field of flight safety at the regional level were outlined.
      Furhter meetings of (IE-REST) expert team are scheduled for September 16-18, 2014 in Moscow jointly with the IAC and COSCAP-CIS project, on flight data analysis and for Septmeber 23-26, 2014 in Almaty, the Republic of Kazakhstan where first two days will be focused on pilot training group initiatives (IE-PTG).
