About the workshop «Geodetic survey at civil aerodromes and air routes in the frame of references WGS-84»

     The workshop on "Geodetic survey at civil aerodromes and air routes within the framework of WGS-84 references" for the ICAO road map implementation was held  in Bishkek town (the Kyrgyz Republic) on May 26-27, 2015. The workshop was organised by the Interstate Aviation Committee and NPC "Geodinamika" of the Moscow State University of Geodesy and Cartography. The representatives of the Republic aviation authorities, capital airport, air navigation and cartography of the Kyrgyz Republic took part in the workshop.
     The workshop participants got acquainted with the results of task force work on coordination and WGS-84 implementation provision in the Eastern-European ICAO region, with working papers of the task force on COG/AIM Task Force aeronavigation information control and with geodetic maintenance of the aeronavigation information conversion program of the Kyrgyz Republic into WGS-84 coordinate frame. 
     During the workshop organizers answered the questions, gave necessary recommendations and suggestions, exchanged best practices of WGS-84 implementation, tender management during vendors selection and other practical issues.
