About the workshop «Safety assesment of foreign aircraft" (SAFA)

     Within the framework of ICAO-IAC RER/01/901 "Development of Ooperational Safety and Continuing Airworthiness" international project implementation the "Safety Assessment of Foreign Aircraft" (SAFA) workshop was launched in Kishinev on March 10, 2015.
       A four-day workshop is organized by AIRBUS company jointly with aviation authorities of the Republic of Moldova and Interstate Aviation Committee.
      The following issues were considered at the seminar:
      - SAFA technical aspects and data base;
      - SAFA inspection points:
      A. Crew cockpit
      B. Passenger cabin
      C. Aircraft state
      D. Cargo compartment
      - Training at A320 aircraft was provided by AIR MOLDOVA.
      The representatives of aviation authorities and airlines of Georgia, Spain, Republic of Moldova, Poland, Russian Federation, Tajikistan Republic, Ukraine and France took part in the workshop.
