Investigation of the fatal accident with Tu-154M aircraft, registration number 101 of the Republic of Poland occurred on 10 April 2010 at the Smolensk North Airport was held by the Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC) in accordance with procedures of Annex 13 "Accident and incident investigation" to Convention on international civil aviation. Accredited representative of the Republic of Poland, large group of polish experts and aviation and flight experts of other countries participated in the investigation.
The investigation is completed on 12 January 2011. Final report based on the investigation results was published at the IAC official web-site and delivered to the Accredited representative of the Republic of Poland via the Republic of Poland Embassy in the Russian Federation.
Interested international organisations were informed about the investigation results as well.
