About the 7th meeting of the ICAO European regional expert safety team

The 7th meeting of the ICAO European regional expert safety team (IE-REST/07) will be held in the Interstate Aviation Committee on April 14-15, 2016. More than 60 specialists from 15 states and 3 international and regional organisations will participate in the meeting.

IE-REST group was established in 2013 at the initiative of the ICAO European and North Atlantic office in order to support the development and implementation of initiatives and activities on flight safety level development in the ICAO European region part with is not covered by Eurocommission and EASA  regulatory framework in accordance with objectives and goals of the European regional flight safety group (RASG-EUR).

Initiatives and activities on flight safety development are currently implemented by harmonized efforts of international and regional organisations, regulatory authorities in coordination with services providers, airlines and aircraft manufacturers.
