About completion the Seventh Meeting of ICAO EUR Regional Expert Safety Team (IE-REST)

On April 14-15, 2016 the Seventh Meeting of the ICAO EUR Regional Expert Safety Team (IE-REST/07) took place in the Interstate Aviation Committee. About 60 experts from 15 countries and 3 international and regional organizations attended the seminar.

Subgroups delivered presentations on different topics regarding the implementation of IE-REST/06 and RCOG/05 decisions:

-         Runway safety enhancement initiatives;

-         FDA programmes;

-         Taxonomy and occurrence reporting/safety data analysis (ADREP/ECCAIRS);

-         Issues regarding the operator’s flight personnel training.

Presentations were made by experts from ICAO, Interstate Aviation Committee, FAA USA, IATA, CAA of Georgia, as well as the representatives of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Russian Federation.
