About signing of Memorandum of understanding with the Romania

On June 17, 2016, in the Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC), the signing of Memorandum of understanding in the field of investigation and prevention of accidents in civil aviation between the Civil Aviation Safety Investigation and Analysis Center (CIAS) of Romania and the IAC was held.

During the visit of CIAS representatives to the IAC, the activities on the onboard FDR/CVR recorder downloading and readout were conducted in the IAC Laboratory. These activities are done in course of the investigation of the accident with Ka-32A ER-KGD helicopter, which occurred on the 26.04.2012 near Ostrov, in Tulcea County, Romania

The parties expressed satisfaction with the achieved agreement and hope for the further cooperation in order to increase flight safety of civil aviation of both parties.
