22-25 August 2016 within the framework of ICAO-IAC Regional Project RER 01\901 (COSCAP-CIS) special courses “A318, A319, A320, A321 aircraft, their systems, CFM 56, IAE V2500, IAE PW 1100G engines and flight and navigation complex” were held in Bishkek, of the Kyrgyz Republic. Additionally the characteristics of new А380 and А350, А320 NEO aircraft were presented.
The courses were organized by experts from Airbus Training Centre Europe in Hamburg, Germany. 35 experts from the Kyrgyz Republic, Republic of Kazakhstan and Republic of Tajikistan received their training at the courses.
The participants familiarized with the mechanical, electrical power, hydraulic power, fuel and pneumatic systems of the Airbus aircraft family. The functional capacity of navigation and radio navigation, automated takeoff and landing systems, and also communication, air conditioning, fire protection, anti-icing systems were scrutinized as well as the flight data recording and reservation system with information displayed in cockpit.
Special attention was given to the familiarization with the CFM 56, IAE V2500, IAE PW 1100G and Leap power units, their electronic control and airframe regulation systems. The participants were distributed flight and technical documentation on maintenance schedule/maintenance checks.
The attendees’ interest was aroused by the information about different composite material types (carbon fiber composite, glass fiber, aramid fiber, etc.) used by Airbus, their pros and cons.
At the end of the сourses participants received electronic copies of materials and certificates of the Airbus Training Centre Europe in Hamburg, Germany.
