The Interstate Aviation Committee took part in 71st meeting of the Commonwealth Independent States Economic council.
The participants in particular considered the course of implementing the Concept of harmonization of the national air traffic management systems of the CIS.
The issue is prepared and introduced for consideration by CIS Executive Committee jointly with the Interstate Aviation Committee.
The document discussion is aimed at simplification of the process of cooperation between national air navigation systems, flight safety promotion in airspace of the Commonwealth states and creation of favorable conditions for integration of ATM systems of the Member States of the Agreement on Civil Aviation and Use of Airspace into European and global air navigation systems.
The following decision is taken on the issue:
1. Take the information on implementation of the Concept of harmonization of the national air traffic management systems of the CIS into consideration.
2. Recommend to aviation authorities of the Commonwealth states to consider the issue on updating the Concept provisions according to contemporary aspects of air traffic development.
