On the meeting of the IAC delegation with the leadership of Turkmenhowayollary State national service

The meeting of the IAC delegation with the leadership of Turkmenhowayollary State national service was held in Ashkhabat (Turkmenistan) on September 18.

During the meeting the IAC introduced the Turkmen colleagues brief results of the Committee activity for 25-year period and shared the plans of regional cooperation. During the discussion the issues of enhancinng collaboration in the field of aviation personnel training, initiatives in the field of flight safety, cooperation in the field of airports and equipment certification, preparation for participation in ICAO 39th Assembly were addressed. 

Both parties emphasized the high potential of mutual cooperation and expressed mutual aspiration to expand cooperation in diverse activities in the field of flight safety including in the light of the preparation for the forthcoming ICAO audit in Turkmenistan in 2018. 

Turkmen colleagues shared information on the recent achievements in the field of airport network development, flight crew training organization, simulation complex development.

IAC delegation reiterated their congratulations to the colleagues with the new, modern, high-tech airport and wished further confident development of Turkemnistan civil aviation.

For its part the Turkmen party thanked the IAC for support including organization of training courses for accident investigation specialists which will start in Ashkhabat on September 21, 2016.
