On signing a Memorandum of Understanding in the field of aviation and border security

On October 25, 2016, the Interstate Aviation Committee and Coordination Service of the Council of Commanders of Border Troops signed a Memorandum of Understanding in the field of aviation and border security, which includes information excahnge, best practices and analysis sharing, exchange between authorities and joint participation in international activities in order to develop collaboration.

The Memorandum was signed within the framework of the Agreement on Civil Aviation and Use of Airspace dated December 25, 1991, and Provisions on Coordination Service of the Council of Commanders of Border Troops dated November 14, 2008.

The IAC Aviation Security Coordination Department and Operations and Coordination Department of Operational Activities and Legal Support of the Coordination Service of the Coordination Service of the Council of Commanders of Border Troops have been established for interaction.
