On the meeting of Working Group

On May 16–18, 2018, the Interstate Aviation Committee held a meeting of the Working Group on the development of proposals to update the "Concept for Harmoniziation of National Air Traffic Management Systems of the Member States of the Commonwealth of Independent States," adopted in 2003. Representatives of the CIS Executive Committee, Member States of the Agreement on Civil Aviation and Use of Airspace, and executives and employees of leading industrial enterprises and research organizations participated in the meeting.

During the meeting the Working Group reviewed proposals prepared by representatives of the States Parties to the Agreement and developed an updated draft "Concept for the Harmonization of National ATM Systems of the States Parties to the Agreement on Civil Aviation and Use of Airspace."

Following the meeting, the Final Protocol was signed.

Participants agreed that the dynamic development of aviation technology and flight support systems requires constant attention to the implementation of the Concept provisions.
