In accordance with programme of cooperation of CIS Member States on countering terrorism and other violent manifestations of extremism joint anti-terrorism exercises "Dushanbe-Anti-terror - 2017" were conducted at the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan on May 31 - June 2, 2017.
Experts of he IAC Aviation security coordination department actively participated in the preparation and implementation of the exercise scenario. Improved collaboration of aviation at international airports in CIS member states in identifying and detaining persons suspected of terrorism or ties to terrorist organizations was emphasized.
In general, the issues raised were fully addressed and the objectives of the exercise were achieved.
