At the invitation of IATA the IAC delegation attended the reception on the occasion of visit of IATA’s Director General Alexandre de Juniac to Russia.
In the course of discussions with IATA management the Interstate Council President, IAC Chairperson Tatiana Anodina was invited to visit IATA headquarters in Geneva (Switzerland) on a mutually agreed time frame to discuss further enhanced collaboration of two organizations within the framework of IAC-IATA agreement signed by Tatiana Anodina and IATA Director General Alexandre de Juniac in December 1994 (with amendments fr om 1997 and 2009).
IAC cooperates with IATA on many issues within the framework of the given Agreement including implementation of ICAO and IATA standards including IOSA, as well as integration of contracting states of the Interstate Agreement on Civil Aviation and Use of Airspace into CORSIA system. For its part, IAC (IAC Aviation Register) is planning to introduce the appropriate amendments into Aviation Regulations of aircraft and engines certification in the early 2018 to lim it the emissions of hydrocarbons taking into account the adopted ICAO international standards.
Close cooperation is being carried out within the framework of Agreement with IATA and ICAO on further enhancement of flight safety, aviation security and specialists training, as well as improvement of cost-effectiveness and accessibility of international air transport.
Tatiana Anodina regularly receives invitations from IATA directors general to participate in IATA Assemblies including the forthcoming Assembly in 2018.
