On the 15th session of Air Navigation Coordination Commission

Two-section (Air Navigation subcommission and Aviation meteorology subcommission) 15^th session of Air Navigation Coordination Commission was held at the Interstate Aviation Committee held on June 21-23, 2017.

Representatives of aviation authorities and providers of air navigation services of the Commonwealth states, representatives of industrial enterprises, designers and manufacturers of ATM equipment and technology of Russia and Republic of Belarus, representatives of Federal State Budgetary Entity "Main Aeronautical Meteorological Center of the Federal Service for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring", Federal State Budgetary Institution Aviamettelecom of Roshydromet and specialists of RF Research Institutes, Research and Production centers (associations) and education institutions, representatives of National Defense Control Center of RF, Main aviation meteorological center of the Ministry of defense of the Russian Federation, Department of Airspace use of Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Belarus took part for the first time.

The meeting was launched in the format of a plenary session, which was opened by the IAC First Deputy Chairperson S. Zayko.

After this the first day of 15^th Air Navigation Coordination Commission was continued by subcommissions separately.

Within the framework of “Air navigation subcommission” presentations about advanced technologies in ATM systems and facilities, issues of road map implementation fr om AIS to AIM were presented to the participants, topic on data protection in ATC automatic control system was discussed for the first time, the issue of intergrating unmanned aerial vehicles into common airspace was raised, representatives of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and Belarus made presentations on military coordination, other issues related to ATM aviation safety enhancement were also considered.

“Aviation meteorology subcommission” considered issues connected with regional features of aviation meteorology of the Commonwealth states; issues related to forecasting quality; issues on personnel professional training and issues related to advanced developments in meteorology.

During the second day participants of the meeting visited Scientific production association LEMZ, JSC (Research and Production Corporation «Lianozovo Electromechanical Plant») wh ere in accordance with agenda they were briefed on activities carried out in LEMZ experimental design bureau on development of radar aerodrome, air route and meteorological radars, were informed about radome products of “Prom Composite”, which items are designed to protect transmit antennas, different radio facilities from environment: water, solar radiation; listened to presentation on “Application of wireless broadband access for Aeronautical Fixed Telecommunications Network upgrade”; visited LEMZ demonstration workshops.

In accordance with agenda the third day of the meeting was held in Boeing Company aviation training center in Skolkovo innovation zone. At the end of the meeting the results were summed up.

Participants of the session emphasized high level of 15^th Coordination Commission, informative, interesting presentations and reports.

Based on the results of the meeting, the final document is being prepared.
