On the courses in the Kyrgyz Republic

On 30 January – 9 February 2018 within the framework of the ICAO/IAC Project RER/01/901 «Development of Operaional Safety and Continuing Airworthiness» implementation at the request of the Civil Aviation Agency at the Ministry of Transport of the Kyrgyz Republic the «Flight Safety and Aircraft Accident Investigation» Courses took place in Bishkek. These courses were held by the experts of the Interstate Aviation Committee for the purpose of training specialists from the Civil Aviation Agency at the Ministry of Transport of the Kyrgyz Republic, airports, airlines and air navigation. About 40 specialists participated in the event.   

The programme of the courses included the following issues:

-         organization of air accident and incident investigation;

-         evaluation of air accident risks;

-      establishment of the Safety Management System (SMS) in compliance with the ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices;

-         experience of the SMS implementation in airlines;

-         practical implementation of SMS at airports;

-         experience in organization and conducting search and rescue operations.
