About the workshop «Basis for flight management, aviation activities and flight safety»

On May 24-28, 2021 the workshop "Basis for flight management, aviation activities and flight safety" for heads and specialists of aeronautical information centers, topographic-geodesic services was held at the Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC). 

The main purpose of the event was to familiarize specialists of topographic-geodesic services with peculiarities of aviation activities management and influence of the terrain on flight safety. In addition, consultations and best practices exchange were held. 

Presentations at the conference were broadcasted online. 

The representatives of "Belgeodesia" state enterprise who presented their unique developments greatly assisted in preparation and holding of the conference. 

MAI representatives made presentations on the application and use of open data for remote sensing of the Earth from space for addressing practical tasks.
