About the visit of the CAA of the Islamic Republic of Iran to IAC

On April 6 the official visit of the delegation of the CAA of the Islamic Republic of Iran headed by the President of the Civil Aviation Administration of Iran Mohammad Mohammadi Bakhsh to the Interstate Aviation Committee took place. During the visit the parties exchanged opinions on the issues of the expansion of bilateral contacts in the field of flight safety, aircraft accident investigation, airworthiness, certification of aircraft and aircraft equipment and its production. The members of the delegation showed interest in the demonstrated IAC laboratory complex and suggested mutually beneficial cooperation in the sphere of high-tech developments.

The parties highly appreciated the level of interaction between IAC and the CAA of Iran, which began more than 30 years ago, and expressed their confidence in the need to develop closer cooperation, having agreed to conclude new agreements in the field of aircraft accident investigation and maintaining aircraft airworthiness in addition to the previously signed memorandums. The parties agreed on the expediency of developing mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of aviation personnel training, high technologies and exchange of experience in the sphere of flight safety and sustainable development of the civil aviation in the region.
