About the visit of IAC delegation to the Republic of Belarus

On May 30 the IAC delegation headed by IAC Chairman O.G. Storchevoy paid an official visit to the Republic of Belarus. During the visit, working meetings were held with the Minister of Transport and Communications A.N. Avramenko and Director of the Aviaiton Department I.V. Golub.  
The IAC Chairperson informed participants of the meeting about the results of IAC work and also about plans and initiatives to improve interstate cooperation mechanisms in order to ensure safe and economically sustainable development of civil aviation in modern conditions. The IAC Head highlighted the results of the ICAO Global Aviation Safety Plan implementation, as well as the preparation of the draft IAC Development Strategy. 
The parties discussed relevant aspects of cooperation in the field of flight safety, training and aviation experts proficiency upgrade, investigation of aircraft accidents and incidents.
The exchange of opinions on international cooperation in the field of civil aviation took place, ways of further development of bilateral relations were outlined. 
The participants of the meeting highly appriciated the level of IAC cooperation with aviaiton authorities of the Republic of Belarus and expressed confidence in the need to promote collaboration in the field of flight safety.
