IAC takes part in the International Helicopter Industry Exhibition HeliRussia

On June 10, 2024, in Moscow the grand opening of the International Helicopter Industry Exhibition HeliRussia took place.

Chairman of the Interstate Aviation Committee Oleg Storchevoy took part in the plenary session “Continued Airworthiness and After-Sales Maintenance of Helicopter Equipment” and the official tour of the exhibition exposition.

Guests of the exhibition were introduced to aircraft of various types, classes and purposes, as well as special means used in fire fighting and rescue, in the provision of oil and gas and medical services, and in the transportation of people and cargo.

The main new products of the exhibition are drones that can transport heavy loads. In particular, at its stand the Belarusian Design Bureau “Unmanned Helicopters” presented the HUNTER reconnaissance and strike complex in a new modification. The complex can be used to solve other military and special purpose tasks.

IAC specialists take part in the business program of the event. During two days, as part of the HeliRussia business program, industry experts will discuss issues and problems of the helicopter industry, including flight safety and threats associated with the joint use of airspace by unmanned and manned aircraft. They will discuss the further operation of domestic aircraft with foreign components and foreign manufacture, the domestic helicopter fleet and prospects for the development of the model range of Russian aircraft manufacturers, training of aviation personnel and the possibility of using artificial intelligence in the helicopter industry.

Every year HeliRussia demonstrates the full range of products and services of the helicopter industry, during the event new and promising developments are shown. The organizer of the exhibition is the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia. The event takes place on the initiative and with the support of the Association of Helicopter Industry, the organizer of the exhibition - HeliRussia LLC.
