About the meeting of the IAC Chairman Oleg Storchevoy with the management of the Transport and Infrastructure Department of the Eurasian Economic Commission

On August 8, 2024, in the Interstate Aviation Committee a working meeting of the IAC Chairman Oleg Storchevoy with the management of the Transport and Infrastructure Department of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) was held.  

The Eurasian Economic Commission was represented by the Director of the Transport and Infrastructure Department Rustan Dzhenalinov, as well as Deputy Directors of the Transport and Infrastructure Department Elena Sherysheva and Elena Valenta.

During the meeting, the Parties discussed the prospects for cooperation between the organizations, including possible activities to be included in the draft plan for the implementation of the Memorandum between the EEC and IAC for 2024-2025.

The IAC Chairman informed about the work being carried out in terms of ensuring flight safety, training and advanced training of aviation specialists, and aircraft accident and incident investigation. Issues of international cooperation in the field of civil aviation development were discussed.

Following the meeting, the Parties agreed to continue the constructive dialogue.
