Today, September 3, 2024, the civil aviation collectives of the Republic of Tajikistan celebrate the centenary of their industry.
The Chairman of the Interstate Aviation Committee Oleg Storchevoy took part in the ceremonial event, which was held today at the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan in Dushanbe.
The Chairman of the IAC, congratulating his Tajik colleagues on the 100th anniversary of the civil aviation of the Republic of Tajikistan, noted the following:
"Civil aviation is rightfully considered to be one of the most important links in the transport complex of states, ensuring the prompt delivery of passengers and cargo, connecting the most remote and hard-to-reach regions.
Over the years, the civil aviation of Tajikistan has come a long way from the single-engine monoplane Junkers-13 to comfortable passenger airliners, from a small airport building to modern airport complexes provided with the most advanced technology and equipment. The flight fleet of Tajikistan airlines is regularly replenished with modern aircraft, the geography of flights is expanding.
All these achievements are the result of the dedicated work of aviators. Pilots, navigators, engineers, flight attendants, ground service specialists of Tajikistan honorably perform difficult, responsible and very important work to ensure flights and their safety.
I would like to express special words of gratitude to the veterans who developed civil aviation in different periods of history, including difficult ones for the Republic of Tajikistan.
I am convinced that today's generation of aviators of the Republic of Tajikistan will increase the glorious traditions established by their predecessors, and their high professionalism, responsibility and experience of practical activities will help in solving problems of any complexity, will fully serve the cause of strengthening the aviation industry and its comprehensive development.
I would like to say a few words about the cooperation of the Interstate Aviation Committee with the aviation authorities of the Republic of Tajikistan. For more than 30 years, we have been interacting on issues of coordinating the use of airspace, meteorological support of flights, aviation medicine, aviation security and training of aviation personnel. Specialists of aviation organizations of the Republic of Tajikistan take an active part in the work of specialized Coordination Councils under the IAC, as well as in international conferences and seminars aimed at improving the safety of civil aviation flights. And I hope that our professional cooperation will continue in the future”.
In connection with the anniversary, Oleg Storchevoy presented Tajik colleagues who made a significant contribution to the development of cooperation with the IAC with certificates of honor and letters of gratitude.
"On this solemn day, I sincerely wish the workers and veterans of civil aviation of the Republic of Tajikistan the implementation of all their plans, new successes, confidently keepping a course for further development of the industry and always being on top! Good health, energy and clear peaceful sky to you!” - the Chairman of the IAC wished in conclusion of his speech.
