The IAC Chairman took part in the National Aviation Infrastructure Salon NAIS 2026

Chairman of the Interstate Aviation Committee Oleg Storchevoy took part in the National Aviation Infrastructure Salon, which opened on February 4, 2026, in Moscow.

The event traditionally began with an official tour of the NAIS 2026 exhibit, which showcases high-tech products and innovations in the aviation industry. The IAC Chairman visited the booths of airlines and specialized organizations presenting the latest industry achievements in air transportation, air traffic management, aircraft manufacturing, digital technologies, and unmanned aircraft.

Oleg Storchevoy participated in the main event of the NAIS 2026 business program - the plenary session "Our own height: how Russia's sovereign aviation model is being formed." A thorough dialogue took place between representatives of Russian government agencies and industry companies on the development of air transportation, which continues despite unprecedented sanctions pressure from unfriendly states. They discussed the aviation industry's readiness to introduce new types of Russian aircraft and the implementation of a Russian aviation development model that is as independent as possible from imported technologies and materials.

A ceremony to sign a Cooperation Agreement between the Interstate Aviation Committee and the Public Council of the Federal Air Transport Agency took place at NAIS 2026.

The Chairman of the Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC) took part in awards ceremonies for the winners of the industry awards "Air Gates of Russia" and RuSky Awards, the winners of the NAIS scholarship award named after E.K. Kisel, and the winners of student awards.

IAC experts are also participating in the NAIS 2026 business program, which included discussions on aviation and transport safety, ensuring the airworthiness of Russian aircraft, the design and construction of airport infrastructure, aviation medicine, ecology, digitalization of the industry, and tourism.

The Salon will continue its work on February 5, 2026. The main event of the business program on the second day of NAIS 2026 will be the forum "Drontech: an ecosystem for unmanned aviation," which will summarize the results of 2025 for the use of unmanned aircraft in airspace and discuss a wide range of issues related to the safe use of unmanned aircraft in Russia's common airspace.

NAIS traditionally takes place in Moscow on the eve of Russian Civil Aviation Day. It is a unique venue for a large-scale meeting of the air transport community to discuss industry development opportunities, negotiate cooperation, address existing challenges, and learn about new technologies and products in the civil aviation infrastructure market.
