New partnership: IAC and Public Council of Rosaviatsia signed Cooperation Agreement

On February 5, 2026, a ceremony was held at the National Aviation Infrastructure Salon (NAIS 2026) to sign a Cooperation Agreement between the Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC) and the Public Council under the Federal Air Transport Agency (Public Council of Rosaviatsia). The document was signed by IAC Chairman Oleg Storchevoy and the Chairman of Public Council of Rosaviatsia Nikolai Ivanovsky.

A priority area of ​​cooperation between the parties is facilitating the implementation of initiatives aimed at improving aviation safety in civil aviation in the Russian Federation.

The IAC Chairman informed the members of Public Council of Rosaviatsia that the activities of the Committee for enhancing aviation safety have been carried out for almost 35 years and are recognized internationally, including in the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). "We do one thing - both IAC and the Public Council of Rosaviatsia - work for citizens and develop safe civil aviation. I am sure that the signed agreement will allow us to combine our efforts in work aimed at improving aviation safety level". 

The Chairman of the Public Council of Rosaviatsia noted the importance of the Agreement and emphasized: "The signing of the Agreement will help the Public Council of Rosaviatsia to expand its public oversight and monitoring efforts in the interests of passengers and shippers."

The Agreement was signed in the presence of Vladislav Grib, Deputy Secretary of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation, Sergey Stramous, Deputy Head of Rosaviatsia, and members of the Public Council of Rosaviatsia.

NAIS 2026 provides a platform for a large-scale meeting of the air transport community to discuss development opportunities, negotiate cooperation, address existing challenges, and learn about new technologies and products in the civil aviation infrastructure market.
