On February 5, 2026, experts from the Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC) continued working on the business program of the second day of the National Aviation Infrastructure Salon.
IAC Chairman Oleg Storchevoy, as a guest of honor, took part in the conference "Without interrupting flight: applied science for the industry." He wished all conference participants fruitful work and announced that an awards ceremony for young scientists from civil aviation universities in the industry was held at NAIS 2026 on February 4. "It is encouraging that students and trainees are not only learning but also striving to realize their potential in science. They are our next generation, and it is important to support them in this endeavor."
The conference facilitated a lively professional discussion on the challenges of science in civil aviation, development trends in manned and unmanned aircraft, the challenges of integrating scientific developments into manufacturing processes, and systems for training scientific personnel for the aviation industry.
Oleg Storchevoy and IAC staff also participated in the open meeting of the Rosaviatsia Flight Methodology Council, an important expert dialogue aimed at enhancing aviation safety and ensuring safe operation of air transport.
IAC representatives also attended the "Drontech: an ecosystem for unmanned aviation" forum, which brought together experts in the integration and development of unmanned aircraft. They discussed operational approaches, safe intergration in airspace, registration of unmanned aircraft, and obtaining flight clearances. The experts shared their experience, discussed challenges facing the industry, and its development prospects.
According to the organizers, the Crocus Expo under the wing of NAIS 2026 gathered a record number of participants in two days. NAIS 2026 and DRONTECH brought together over 200 companies from Russia, Belarus, China, and Iran, attracting over 10,000 professional aviation industry visitors.
