IAC took part in the Meeting of Economic Affairs Commission under CIS Economic Council

On June 22, 2026, a regular meeting of the Economic Affairs Commission under the CIS Economic Council was held at the CIS Executive Committee office, during which a number of aspects of economic cooperation between the CIS Member States were considered.

The meeting was attended by Alexander Vedernikov, Deputy Director of the Department for Harmonization of Civil Aviation Development and Us of Airspace, who presented a report on the draft Action Plan for the implementation of the Concept for the Harmonization of National Air Traffic Management Systems of the Member States of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

In his report, the Deputy Director of the Department noted that the draft Action Plan includes practical areas of cooperation based on a balanced technical approach. This approach provides States with the conditions for further development of national air traffic management system plans in accordance with operational requirements.

The expected result of the implementation of the Action Plan is an increase in the safety, regularity and cost-effectiveness of civil aircraft flights and the quality of air traffic services.

The document is planned to be submitted for consideration to the Economic Council and the  CIS Council of the Heads of Government.
